About Us

We began in 1977 with six people who had a vision for a Presbyterian church in Green Valley. At the first service of worship on October 21, 1977, there were 125 people. On February 5, 1978, they were recognized as an official church and had 188 charter members. God has blessed us with a beautiful sanctuary built in 1982 which seats 750 in the main area.

We have 1,100 members. From November through April we have two services of worship each morning with average attendance of 650 at each service. During the summer months we have one service of worship averaging 500 in attendance.

Presbyterian Church

Our attendance fluctuates because we are located in a retirement community, with many people maintaining summer homes in the north.

We belong to the Presbytery de Cristo of the Presbyterian Church (U.S.A.). Many of our members, however, come to the Presbyterian church from many and diverse denominational backgrounds.
